They use props, costumes and their imagination to play out scenarios where they develop situations where they can express themselves and learn about the world.

How to set up Dramatic Play for Toddlers?
There is no wrong or right way to set up your area for Dramatic Play,
Some set ups can seem intimidating for your first time setting up, so it's important to remember to have fun in the process of setting up as an adult as well.
Below you will find some key essentials to make your area engageable for your toddler.
Choose a space. it does not have to be a big space, a table will be sufficient. As long as it is a designated space for this précise activity.
Pick a theme. For example, Doctor, Dentist, Coffee Shop, Mail Man, any profession or job.
Set up props that have to do with that theme.

If your dramatic theme is a baking station or a kitchen, here you can use some of your own things you have around in the kitchen like wooden spoons and bowls. Child safe, of course!
